DevExpress Support Center – My Tags?
OK this one isn’t XPO related however, if you haven’t come across this feature (like myself) then you might be quite happy to learn a bit about it. The Support Center does support favorites, originally there was a favorites system which I had used a little, but when the new one came out I didn’t notice anything to bookmark/favorite an article.
Today I just accidentally found it. So lets look at it.
Firstly the quickest way to get to the DevExpress Support Center is
From here click on the My Questions and Issues link.
On this page you will see a My Tags section
So if you go into an Issue, KB or Code Central article you will notice you get an extra option to Add a tag (and if you have tagged it already a red Remove button will also become visible)
Once you have added a tag to the article, you can click on the Tag to take you to all articles that have the same tag.
This basically makes it like a multi category bookmark system. ![]()
Very nice indeed, and something I hadn’t noticed before, so if you have been using it for ages and think I am a n00b for missing it, well fair enough, but figured I would post this for any other n00bs out there.
Happy Coding
